Danielle’s photojournalistic approach to picture taking combines her detailed knowledge of color, composition and texture with her keen interest in and sensitivity to her subject matter. Danielle is an artist and art teacher. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in New York City and Binghamton, NY. She taught studio art and art history for seven years in New York City public schools. Danielle has a B.F.A from SUNY Binghamton where she studied painting, drawing and photography, a M.A. in Gallery and Retail Arts Administration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and a certificate in Arts Education from the School for Visual Arts. Danielle currently lives in Brooklyn where she spends her days (and nights) taking pictures and chasing after her two young boys, camera in hand.
